Example

The chart above, in each framework. Pick a framework once and every example on the site follows it.

shell
npm install @silverpoint/react @silverpoint/grounds @silverpoint/fonts
tsx
import '@silverpoint/fonts/fonts.css';
import '@silverpoint/grounds/styles.css';
import { HeatmapChart } from '@silverpoint/react/heatmap-chart';

const data = [
  { label: 'Mon', values: [12, 34, 58, 71, 66, 40] },
  { label: 'Tue', values: [18, 42, 77, 88, 70, 35] },
  { label: 'Wed', values: [9, 38, 64, 93, 81, 47] },
  { label: 'Thu', values: [15, 29, 55, 68, 59, 31] },
  { label: 'Fri', values: [6, 21, 43, 49, 37, 14] },
];

export default function App() {
  return (
    <div style={{ width: 480 }}>
      <HeatmapChart

}

Import

Each chart has its own subpath, so a bundle only carries the charts it uses. Every adapter also exports every chart from its barrel.

FrameworkImport
Reactimport { HeatmapChart } from '@silverpoint/react/heatmap-chart';
Vueimport { SpHeatmapChart } from '@silverpoint/vue/heatmap-chart';
Angularimport { SpHeatmapChart } from '@silverpoint/angular/heatmap-chart'; // <sp-heatmap-chart>

Props

The props HeatmapChart adds to the ones every chart takes. Accessor props (…Key, keys, names) name fields of your rows and are ignored without data.

React / AngularVueReflexTypeDescription
labelKeylabel-keylabel_keyAccessor<string>—
valuesKeyvalues-keyvalues_keyAccessor<readonly (number | null)[] | null | undefined>—
scaleMaxscale-maxscale_maxnumberValue that maps to the darkest tone; 100 by default.
columnLabelscolumn-labelscolumn_labelsreadonly string[]Names of the columns, in order; missing ones fall back to #k (delta-006).

Common props

Every chart also takes these. Framework conventions: camelCase in React and Angular, kebab-case in Vue templates, snake_case in Reflex. Read more about them.

Events

Pointer and keyboard exploration are built in. The item under the pointer or focus is reported, and a click, Enter or Space selects it. The item is { seriesKey, index, datum, value, point: { x, y } }.
