Accessibility

Every chart is an image with a name, a description and a data table, explorable from the keyboard.

Built in

  • role="img" with an accessible name (label, from title by default) and a generated description.
  • A data table: hidden for assistive technology by default, or visible with dataTable="visible".
  • Keyboard exploration: focus the chart, move with the arrow keys, select with Enter or Space; readouts are announced.
  • Automatic precision mode under prefers-contrast: more and forced-colors: active.
  • A palette computed for WCAG contrast, enforced in CI; white heightening always carries an ink outline.
  • Linked-dashboard marks are hidden from assistive technology so they never duplicate a readout.
